- Encourage your child to estimate how long she thinks it’s going to take her to do something. For example, a homework assignment, each step in a routine, etc.
- Then ask her to time herself doing each activity.
- Calculate the time difference between each estimate and the reality of how long it took her to do something. This process will help her develop a better understanding of how to manage her time and plan ahead for future projects.
